FIDM Acceptance Interview

Hi Danyell,

In preparing for your Acceptance Interview, you should start thinking about some of the topics the Accepting Officer will be addressing with you:

*Commitment - priorities in your life, work load, commute time, part time job, etc.

*Your major - such as what it means to you and why you are interested in it

*Life at FIDM - what kind of student you will be, what you think it will be like as a student

*Goals - what you expect to get out of FIDM and what you will have to do to get there

*Past experiences - school, work, challenges you've overcome, achievements
(If academic history is weak, how is it going to be different this time, why and how?)

Please arrive promptly at the time scheduled at 1:30 pm. Be dressed for an important interview (professional, no jeans please.). It is perfectly fine to be nervous, but be excited at the same time, remember, this is a very important meeting that could change your life.

Be sure to double check your "check list" and make sure you have everything checked off. Also, remember to come prepared with the final application fee of $200 if you are accepted to the college this will be due then.

Please be sure to contact me anytime, as I am your Admissions Advisor, and my main objective at this time is to help you get through the Admissions process smoothly and successfully.
